Luminous Dreams: How to Create and Remember Them

We all have dreams. Some of us have very vivid, interesting dreams that we can remember for years to come. Others have more mundane dreams that quickly fade from memory. But what makes a dream memorable? And how can we make sure to remember our dreams when we wake up?

There are a few things you can do to help you remember your dreams:

-Keep a dream journal by your bed. As soon as you wake up, write down what you can remember about your dream. The more details you can include, the better.
-Make an effort to recall your dreams every morning. Take a few minutes to think about what you dreamed about the night before. If you can’t remember anything, don’t worry – just try again tomorrow morning.
-Think about your dreams before going to bed. Tell yourself that you want to remember your dreams when you wake up. This will help put your mind in the right frame of mind for dreaming.
-Try lucidity techniques such as reality checking or keeping a dream journal during the day (see Resources below for more information). These techniques can help increase the chances of having a lucid dream, which is a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming and can control the dream content. Lucid dreaming is an excellent way to practice remembering your dreams!

If you follow these tips, you should start seeing an improvement in your ability to recall Dreams!
