The science of dreaming


We all dream. Whether we remember them or not, we experience approximately four to six dreams each night. Although we don’t yet fully understand the science behind dreaming, there are some interesting theories out there.

One theory suggests that dreams are a way for our brain to process and sort through information. Dreams allow us to access information that we may not be able to during waking hours. This is because during dreams, the part of our brain that controls logical reasoning is turned off. This allows us to access different parts of our brain that we may not normally have access to.

Another theory suggests that dreams are a way for us to work through our emotions. Dreams can be a way for us to process and make sense of our emotions. This is especially true for negative emotions like fear, anger, and sadness. Dreams can help us work through these emotions in a safe and controlled environment.
